Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu – Cultural Welcome
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our dedicated team will greet you and escort you to your hotel. Nestled in the heart of Nepal, Kathmandu is the nation’s capital and the vibrant epicenter of its historical and cultural heritage. The valley, which includes both Kathmandu and Patan, is a living museum of ancient temples and traditions.
After check-in and a brief rest, embark on a spiritual journey to the iconic Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s holiest Hindu pilgrimage site located on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. This revered UNESCO World Heritage Site is a sprawling complex of shrines, inscriptions, and temples that date back centuries and serves as the spiritual seat of Lord Pashupatinath, the national deity of Nepal.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara – Scenic Flight & Lakeside Leisure
This morning, take a short 30-minute flight to the serene city of Pokhara, known for its tranquil lakes and majestic mountain views. On a clear day, panoramic vistas of the Annapurna Range can be seen from the city itself.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the charming Lakeside area, filled with shops, cafés, and local culture. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 3: Pokhara – Sunrise & City Tour
Begin your day early with a drive to Sarangkot, a hilltop viewpoint famed for its breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas, especially the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. At 1,592 meters, Sarangkot is also a hub for paragliding, offering a bird’s-eye view of Pokhara and its surroundings.
Return to Pokhara for an afternoon sightseeing tour. Visit the historic Bindhyabasini Temple, one of the city’s oldest, dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple’s location offers peaceful surroundings and Himalayan views. Continue to Devi’s Fall (Patale Chhango), a dramatic waterfall that is particularly striking during monsoon season. Across the road, explore Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, home to fascinating limestone formations and a sacred shrine. Note: photography is not permitted inside the cave. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 4: Pokhara to Chitwan – Journey to the Jungle
After breakfast, travel by road (approximately 4 hours) to Chitwan, located in Nepal’s subtropical Terai lowlands. Chitwan is home to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Asia’s top wildlife destinations. Spanning 360 square miles, the park features dense forests, open grasslands, and rivers that support an array of wildlife including one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, elephants, and over 500 species of birds. Check-in at your jungle lodge. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 5: Chitwan – Full Day Safari Experience
Spend the day immersed in nature with a range of jungle activities. The highlight is an exciting elephant-back safari, allowing you to spot wildlife up close in their natural habitat.
Day 6: Chitwan to Kathmandu – Flight & Free Time
After breakfast, transfer to Bharatpur Airport for your short flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to unwind, explore local markets, or enjoy Kathmandu’s vibrant dining scene. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 7: Heritage Tour & Departure
Begin your final day with a guided visit to Patan (Lalitpur), known as the “City of Beauty”. Separated from Kathmandu by the Bagmati River, Patan is rich in history and architecture, especially around its central Durbar Square, which boasts a high concentration of temples and traditional buildings.
You’ll also stop at the Tibetan Refugee Center, famous for its handwoven carpets and handicrafts—perfect for unique souvenirs.
End the tour with a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), a 5th-century Buddhist site perched atop a hill. With fluttering prayer flags, golden spires, and panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley, it’s one of the most iconic landmarks in Nepal.
Later, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey, carrying memories of Nepal’s culture, nature, and warmth.
